320-й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Як повідомили в Генеральному штабі ЗСУ, ситуація на передовій не зазнала суттєвих змін за перший тиждень цього року. Тривають важкі кровопролитні бої на Луганщині й Донеччині. Бахмут і Соледар тримаються попри постійні численні штурми ворога. Цифри дня:
- Сили оборони в неділю збили три ворожих гелікоптери і три дрони. За добу російські війська завдали 7 ракетних і 31 авіаудар, а також здійснили 73 обстріли з РСЗВ,— зведення Генштабу
- В ЗСУ повідомили про «жорстокі бої» за Соледар. Як заявив спікер Східного угруповання ЗСУ Сергій Череватий, минулої доби в місті сталося 22 бойових зіткнення, а російська армія здійснила 106 обстрілів.

- Британська розвідка: останніми тижнями росія зміцнила оборонні споруди в центральній частині Запорізької області, особливо між містами Василівка та Оріхів. Аналітики зазначають, що рф побоюється українського наступу на двох напрямках – в Луганській області або в Запоріжжі.
- Президент Зеленський: відбулося перше в цьому році звільнення наших воїнів із російського полону. 50 українців повернулися додому, серед них – захисники Київщини, Донеччини, Маріуполя, півдня країни.
- Міністри юстиції з усього світу зберуться у Лондоні в березні, щоб підтримати Міжнародний кримінальний суд у розслідуванні військових злочинів росії в Україні.

ХАРКІВ. Зранку у понеділок російські загарбники завдали ракетного удару по ринку у смт Шевченкове. Дві жінки загинули, ще троє жінок та 10-річна дівчинка отримали поранення. Рятувальники продовжують розбирати завали. За попередніми даними, ворог обстріляв населений пункт із ЗРК С-300 з території Бєлгородської області.
СУМИ. Протягом доби по прикордонним пунктам області було завдано 144 удари, повідомили в обласній військовій адміністрації. Під обстрілами перебували Есманська, Миропільська, Новослобідська, Білопільська та Хотинська громади.
ХЕРСОН. Як повідомляє Генштаб, російські військові продовжують обстріл населених пунктів уздовж правого берега річки Дніпро. У ніч проти 8 січня окупанти обстріляли забороненими запальними боєприпасами Таврійський мікрорайон Херсона. У Великоолександрівській громаді місцевий житель підірвався на міні, його госпіталізували.

ДОНБАС. Минулої доби в Бахмуті і Соледарі загинули двоє мирних жителів, ще двоє отримали поранення, повідомили в обласній військовій адміністрації. Зафіксовано артобстріли Вугледару та сусідніх селищ. Зранку 9 січня повідомлялося про удар по Костянтинцівці.

320th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation on the frontline has not changed significantly over the first week of this year. Heavy bloody battles continue in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Bakhmut and Soledar are holding on despite the numerous constant attacks of the enemy. We are infinitely grateful to all our defenders, whose personal resilience and strength inspire us to continue the fight. - Defense forces shot down three enemy helicopters and three drones on Sunday. During the day, russian troops conducted 7 missile and 31 air strikes, as well as 73 attacks from MLRS, – the General Staff report.

- The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported “fierce fighting” for Soledar. According to the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevaty, 22 clashes took place in the city over the past day, and the russian army fired 106 times.
- British intelligence: in recent weeks, russia has strengthened defensive structures in the central part of the Zaporizhzhya region, especially between the towns of Vasylivka and Orikhiv. Analysts say russia fears a Ukrainian offensive in two directions: in the north of the Luhansk region or Zaporizhzhia.
- President Zelenskyy: the first release of our soldiers from russian captivity took place this year. 50 Ukrainians returned home, including defenders of Kyiv, Donetsk, Mariupol and the country’s south.
- Justice ministers from around the world will gather in London in March to support the International Criminal Court investigating russia’s war crimes in Ukraine.

What is important to know about the situation in Ukraine as of January 9:
KHARKIV: On Monday morning, russian invaders launched a missile attack on a market in Shevchenkove, killing two women and injuring three others, including a 10-year-old girl. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble. According to preliminary data, the enemy shelled the settlement with S-300 from the territory of the Belgorod region.
SUMY. 144 attacks were made on the border points of the region during the day, the regional military administration reported. Esmanska, Miropilska, Novoslobidska, Bilopilska and Khotynska communities were under fire.
КHERSON. According to the General Staff, russian troops continue shelling settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro River. On the night of January 8, the occupants shelled the Tavriyskyi district of Kherson with prohibited incendiary ammunition. A local resident hit a mine in the Velykoaleksandrovska community; he was hospitalised.

DONBAS. Two civilians were killed, and two more were wounded in Bakhmut and Soledar yesterday, the regional military administration reported. Shelling of Vuhledar and the outskirts of neighbour towns was recorded. On the morning of January 9, a strike on Kostiantynivka was reported.
