- Увечері п’ятниці росіяни знову атакували Україну «шахедами»: ППО знищила 4 з 5. 21 квітня 2023 року близько 19.00 години противник атакував Україну з південно-східного напрямку ударними дронами-камікадзе «Shahed-136/131». 4 із 5 «шахедів» збили Сили та засоби ППО командування «Схід» у взаємодії з ППО Нацгвардії.

- Канада оголосила про новий пакет допомоги для України на $29 млн. До нового пакету військової допомоги увійде 40 снайперських гвинтівок калібру 50 і боєприпаси, 16 радіостанцій для супроводу танка Leopard 2 і внесок до фонду НАТО для допомоги Києву, – йдеться у повідомленні Міністерства оборони Канади.
- Латвія вирішила передати Україні всі наявні в неї переносні зенітно-ракетні комплекси Stinger. Про це на засіданні Контактної групи з питань оборони України заявила міністерка оборони Латвії Інара Мурнієце. Крім того, Латвія продовжує втілювати програму підготовки українських військовослужбовців.
- Країни формату «Рамштайн» надали Україні понад 230 танків. «Лише за кілька місяців ця Контактна група поставила понад 230 танків, понад 1550 броньованих машин, а також іншого обладнання й боєприпасів для підтримки понад дев’яти нових бронетанкових бригад»,- заявив міністр оборони США Ллойд Остін.

Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 22 квітня:
СУМИ. російські війська вранці у суботу, 22 квітня, двічі обстріляли з мінометів та артилерії Білопільську громаду на Сумщині. Жертв та поранених унаслідок обстрілів не зафіксовано.
ЧЕРНІГІВ. російські війська вночі скинули з літака керовану бомбу в район села Орликівка Чернігівської області. Інформація про втрати серед місцевого населення чи пошкодження цивільної інфраструктури не надходила.
ДОНБАС. Всього за добу росіяни вбили 1 жителя Донеччини, поранили ще 2.
ХЕРСОН. За минулу добу російські загарбники обстріляли Херсонщину 45 разів, випустивши по території області 235 снарядів. Постраждалих серед цивільного населення не зафіксовано.

- On Friday evening, the russians again attacked Ukraine with “Shaheds”: air defense destroyed 4 out of 5. On April 21, 2023, at around 7:00 p.m., the enemy attacked Ukraine from the southeast with “Shahed-136/131” kamikaze drones. 4 out of 5 “shaheeds” were shot down by the forces and means of air defense of the command “East” in cooperation with the air defense of the National Guard.

- Canada announced a new $29 million aid package for Ukraine. The new military aid package will include 40 50-caliber sniper rifles and ammunition, 16 radio stations to accompany the Leopard 2 tank, and a contribution to the NATO fund for assistance to Kyiv, the Canadian Ministry of Defense said in a statement .
- Latvia has decided to hand over to Ukraine all its Stinger portable anti-aircraft missile complexes. This was stated by Latvian Defense Minister Inara Murniece at the meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine. In addition, Latvia continues to implement the training program for Ukrainian servicemen.
- The countries of the “Ramstein” format provided Ukraine with more than 230 tanks. “In just a few months, this Contact Group has delivered more than 230 tanks, more than 1,550 armored vehicles, and other equipment and ammunition to support more than nine new armored brigades,” said US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

What is important to know about the situation in Ukraine as of April 22:
SUMY. On the morning of Saturday, April 22, russian troops shelled the Bilopol community in Sumy Oblast twice with mortars and artillery. No casualties or injuries were recorded as a result of the shelling.
CHERNIHIV. At night, russian troops dropped a guided bomb from an airplane in the area of the village of Orlykivka, Chernihiv region. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure.
DONBAS. In just one day, the russians killed 1 resident of Donetsk region and wounded 2 more.

KHERSON. Over the past day, the russian invaders shelled the Kherson region 45 times, firing 235 shells on the territory of the region. No casualties among the civilian population were recorded.
