166й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Наша армія робить усе можливе, щоб зупинити російський терор і завдати окупантам якнайбільших втрат. Авдіївка, Піски, Марʼїнка, Бахмутський та інші гарячі напрямки в Донецькій області забирають основні зусилля і, на жаль, багато життів. Важко й на Харківщині та на півдні нашої країни. Щотижня з’являється дедалі більше повідомлень про те, що окупанти готуються до псевдореферендумів та анексії української території. Позиція нашої держави і кожного українця залишається такою, якою була й раніше: ми нічого свого не віддамо, і продовжимо боротьбу за кожен метр рідної землі до повної Перемоги над державою-терористом.

Цифри дня:
- НАЕК “Енергоатом” повідомив про черговий обстріл з боку окупантів Запорізької АЕС та міста Енергодар. Президент Зеленський закликав світову спільноту запровадити санкції проти російської ядерної промисловості.

- Повітряні сили ЗСУ повідомляють, що 7 серпня російські війська завдали ракетних ударів по військових об’єктах у Вінницькій області, є постраждалі.
- За минулу добу у Донецькій області через бойові дії загинули 5 мирних жителів, ще 17 людей поранено. Зруйновано та пошкоджено 22 цивільні об’єкти.
- ЗСУ ракетами HIMARS завдали удару по пунктах тимчасової дислокації ворожих військ на промислових майданчиках у Мелітополі. Також повідомляється про новий удар по Антонівському мосту у Херсоні.
- Лише над сходом України ЗСУ збили понад 200 ворожих ракет із початку війни, – повітряне командування «Схід».
- В Україні розслідують майже 26 тисяч справ про ймовірні військові злочини, – Офіс генпрокурора України. 13 справ передано до суду, по семи з них вирок уже ухвалено.
- російська окупаційна влада прискорює підготовку до проведення нелегітимних псевдореферендумів з метою анексії української території, – Інститут вивчення війни (ISW).

- У неділю з України вийшов другий караван з українським продовольством – 3 судна з Чорноморська та ще одне з Одеси.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 8 серпня:
ДОНЕЦЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ. За повідомленням Генштабу ЗСУ, росіяни здійснили нові невдалі спроби наступу на Слов’янськ, Бахмут, Краматорськ. На Авдіївському напрямку окупанти намагалися прорвати оборону ЗСУ у напрямках населених пунктів Красногорівка, Авдіївка, Піски та Мар’їнка. Бої тривають. За даними Національної поліції, за минулу добу в області зруйновано та пошкоджено 22 цивільні об’єкти: 13 житлових будинків, школу, пішохідний міст, цех металоконструкцій, склад з насінням, коксохімічний завод. Внаслідок бойових дій загинули 5 мирних жителів Донецької області. Ще 17 людей зазнали поранень, повідомляє голова обласної військової адміністрації Павло Кириленко.

ЛУГАНСЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ. російські війська атакували Верхньокам’янське, але знову відступили. Населені пункти біля лінії фронту продовжують страждати від ворожих обстрілів. За добу окупанти застосували 12 разів ствольну артилерію, ще чотири – реактивну. 6 ударів зроблено штурмовою та армійською авіацією ворога.
ХАРКІВ. В ніч на 8 серпня у місті пролунало не менше семи вибухів — мер міста Терехов повідомляє про удар по інфраструктурному об’єкту. Інформації про постраждалих наразі немає. російська ракета також влучила по приватному будинку у селі Печеніги, загинула 72-річна жінка. Ще як мінімум один загиблий та троє поранених у інших населених пунктах області за останню добу.

ДНІПРО. Загарбники двічі за добу обстріляли Нікополь. За попередніми даними, ніхто не постраждав. Пошкоджено кілька будинків та насосну станцію. Без води залишилися 7 тисяч людей.
МИКОЛАЇВ. Вранці 8 серпня окупанти обстріляли околиці міста. За інформацією місцевої влади, обійшлося без жертв і постраждалих. Також обстріли фіксовані у Баштанському та Миколаївському районах.
Ми пишаємося сьогодні кожним, хто своїми діями, словами чи просто тихою молитвою наближає нашу спільну перемогу над ворогом! Ми на своїй землі і з нами правда, перемога і незалежність! Слава Україні!

The 166th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Our army is doing its best to stop the russian terror and inflict significant losses on the occupiers. Avdiivka, Peski, Mariinka, Bakhmut and other hot spots in the Donetsk region are taking considerable effort and, unfortunately, many lives. It is also difficult in the Kharkiv region and our country’s south. Every week there are more and more reports that the occupiers are preparing for pseudo-referendums and the annexation of Ukrainian territory. The position of our State and every Ukrainian remains the same as before: we will not give up anything of our own and will continue to fight for every metre of our native land until we complete victory over the terrorist State.

- National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine (Energoatom) reported another shelling by occupiers of the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the city of Energodar. President Zelenskiy called on the global community to impose sanctions against the russian nuclear industry.

- The AFU air force reports that russian troops launched missile strikes against military facilities in Vinnytsia Region on 7 August, with casualties.
- Five civilians were killed in the past 24 hours, and 17 others were wounded in Donetsk Region due to hostilities. Twenty-two civilian facilities were destroyed or damaged.
- HIMARS missiles struck enemy temporary deployment sites at industrial sites in Melitopol. A new strike was also reported against the Antonovsky Bridge in Kherson.
- Over eastern Ukraine alone, AFU has shot down more than 200 enemy missiles since the war began – Air Command East.
- Almost 26,000 cases of alleged war crimes are being investigated in Ukraine – Office of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine. Thirteen cases have been brought to court, with seven already convicted.

- russian occupation authorities accelerate preparations for illegitimate pseudo-referendums to annex Ukrainian territory, – Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
- A second caravan of Ukrainian food left Ukraine on Sunday – three ships from Chernomorsk and another from Odesa.
What is important to know about the situation in Ukraine as of 8 August:
DONETSK REGION. According to the AFU General Staff, the russians have made new unsuccessful offensive attempts at Slovyansk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk. In the Avdiivka direction, the occupants attempted to break through the AFU defence in Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Peski and Marinka settlements. Fighting continues. According to the National Police, 22 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged in the region over the past day: 13 residential buildings, a school, a pedestrian bridge, a metalwork shop, a warehouse with seeds, and a coke factory. Five Donetsk Region civilians were killed in the fighting. Another 17 people were wounded, according to Pavlo Kirilenko, chairman of the regional military administration.

LUGANSK REGION. russian troops attacked Verkhnekamenske but retreated again. Settlements near the front line continue to suffer from enemy shelling. During the day, the occupiers used 12 rounds of barrel artillery and another four with rocket-propelled grenades. Six strikes were carried out by the enemy’s assault and army aviation.
KHARKIV. At least seven explosions were heard in the city on the night of 8 August – Mayor Terekhov reports a strike on an infrastructure facility. There is no information about casualties yet. russian missile also hit a private house in the village of Pechenegi, killing a 72-year-old woman. At least one more dead and three more wounded in other localities in the region over the past 24 hours.

DNIPRO. Invaders shelled Nikopol twice in 24 hours. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured. Several houses and a pumping station were damaged. Seven thousand people were left without water.
MYKOLAIV. On the morning of 8 August, the occupiers shelled the city’s outskirts. According to local authorities, there were no casualties or injuries. Shelling was also recorded in the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts.
