240-й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Не вщухають російські ракетні удари по нашим мирним містам та людям. Цього ранку під ударом Запоріжжя, Харків, Миколаєв. Держава-терорист намагається знищити енергетичну систему України, змусити наш народ страждати ще більше. Але цими звірствами росіяни лише розпалюють гнів українців та мобілізують міжнародну спільноту для ще більшого опору та санкцій. Ситуація на передовій залишається важкою, особливо на Донеччині та півдні нашої держави. Українські захисники тримають позиції і поступово рухаються вперед, витісняючи ворога. З 24 лютого українці постійно пересвідчуються у тому, як маленькі кроки сотень тисяч людей роблять великі справи. Цифри дня:
- З 10 жовтня росія завдала близько 300 ударів по енергосистемі України, – Міністерство енергетики. Як зазначив президент Зеленський, цими ударами терористи провокують нову хвилю міграції українців до країн ЄС.
- Президент Зеленський у зверненні до Європейської Ради: росіяни замінували дамбу Каховської ГЕС. Якщо вона буде підірвана, в зоні затоплення опиняться близько 80 населених пунктів, включаючи Херсон.
- Загроза повторного наступу з території Білорусі зростає, але напрямок наступу може бути змінений на захід білорусько-українського кордону, – Генштаб ЗСУ.
- За останні шість днів було звільнено 19 населених пунктів Харківської області, а в цілому з початку вересні – 544. Під окупацією залишається 1,8% території регіону.

- Поліція завершила ексгумацію на місці найбільшого масового поховання в Лимані, Донецька область – там виявлено тіла 111 цивільних і 35 військових ЗСУ. Наразі триває ексгумація з одиничних стихійних могил. Загалом на деокупованих територіях північної Донеччини ексгумовано 166 тіл, серед них п’ятеро дітей.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 21 жовтня:
ЗАПОРІЖЖЯ. Внаслідок ударів по місту зранку 21 жовтня постраждали житлові будинки та інфраструктура міста. Повідомляється про «приліт» по п’ятиповерхівці, інформація про жертв уточнюється.
ХАРКІВ. За повідомленням обласної військової адміністрації, внаслідок ранкових ударів російської армії у місті поранено п’ятьох людей. Крім того, є руйнування промислової інфраструктури.

МИКОЛАЇВ. Минулої доби повідомлялося про російські удари по обласному центру ракетами С-300, без жертв та руйнувань.
ДОНЕЦЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ. російські війська продовжують активно обстрілювати донецький напрямок. Минулої доби під вогонь потрапили Мар’їнська громада та Авдіївка. Інформація про постраждалих не надходила.
СУМИ. Рятувальники четверту добу розбирають завали на об’єкті критичної інфраструктури, який було зруйновано ракетним ударом у Роменському районі 17 жовтня. Зниклою безвісти числиться одна людина.

240th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. russian missile attacks on our peaceful cities and people do not stop. This morning Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv are under attack. The terrorist state is trying to destroy the energy system of Ukraine and make our people suffer even more. But by these atrocities, russians only inflame the anger of Ukrainians and mobilize the international community for even stronger resistance and sanctions. The situation on the frontline remains challenging, especially in the Donetsk region and southern Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground and gradually moving forward, pushing the enemy back. Since February 24, Ukrainians have constantly seen how small steps of hundreds of thousands of people do big things. And thanks to our unity and willpower, we will win the victory we all want.

- Since October 10, russia has launched about 300 strikes on Ukraine’s energy system – the Ministry of Energy. According to President Zelenskiy, these strikes provoke a new wave of migration of Ukrainians to the EU countries.
- President Zelenskiy, in his address to the European Council: russians mined the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. If it is blown up, about 80 settlements, including Kherson, will be in the flood zone.

- Police have completed the exhumation at the site of the largest mass grave in Lyman, Donetsk region – the bodies of 111 civilians and 35 AFU service members were found there. SUMY. For the fourth day, rescuers cleared the debris at the critical infrastructure facility that was destroyed by a missile strike in the Romny district on October 17. One person is still missing.
