- Україна повернула з російського полону ще 100 військовослужбовців та 1 цивільного. Серед звільнених — нацгвардійці, прикордонники та бійці ЗСУ. 94 з них — захисники Маріуполя, з яких 63 — оборонці «Азовсталі», повідомив керівник ОП Андрій Єрмак. Один цивільний – перший заступник міського голови Енергодара.
- росіяни вчора випустили по Україні 41 ракету. “Протягом минулої доби противник застосував 41 ракету різних типів по території нашої країни, 5 з них, перероблені ЗРК С-300, по Харкову. 16 ракет збиті нашими захисниками”, – повідомляє Генштаб ЗСУ.
- Франція відправила в Україну 14 легких танків AMX-10RC. Українські екіпажі вже пройшли програму навчання, – повідомляє Forces Operations. Ці 14 легких танків AMX-10RC є першими серед кількох десятків екземплярів, які країни Заходу пообіцяли передати Україні на початку січня.

- Напередодні Мюнхенської конференції з безпеки, Група аналізу загроз Google повідомила, що зловмисники, яких підтримує уряд рф, збільшили спроби злому українських користувачів на 250% протягом минулого року порівняно з попередніми роками.
- Ізраїль надасть $200 мільйонів на розбудову медичної інфраструктури України. Глава ізраїльської дипломатії Елі Коен під час брифінгу з главою МЗС України Дмитром Кулебою у Києві зазначив, що його візит є свідченням підтримки українського народу.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 17 лютого:
ХАРКІВ. По Харкову вдарили ракетами С-300 — цілились в об’єкти інфраструктури, повідомив голова Обласної військової адміністрації Олег Синєгубов. Загиблих та поранених унаслідок нічного обстрілу Харкова немає. Російські війська вдарили ракетами по нежитловим будівлям, вибуховою хвилею пошкоджені цехи одного з підприємств.

ДОНБАС. Минулої доби від російських обстрілів на Донеччині загинули п’ятеро людей, десять — отримали поранення. Внаслідок обстрілу росіянами Бахмута 16 лютого загинули пʼять цивільних, ще дев’ять дістали поранення.

DONBAS. Last day, five people were killed and ten others were injured by russian shelling in Donetsk region. As a result of russian shelling of Bakhmut on February 16, five civilians were killed and nine more were wounded.
