182-й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Рівно півроку як рф оголосила нам війну. «24 лютого нам казали: “У вас немає шансів”, 24 серпня ми кажемо: “З Днем Незалежності, Україно!”. За ці 6 місяців ми змінили історію, змінили світ, змінились самі. Ми ще не мали «Хаймарсів», але мали людей, які готові зупиняти танки голими руками. Нам не були готові закрити небо, але ми мали людей, які були готові закрити собою рідну землю. Український народ і його мужність надихнули весь світ. Ми не сідаємо за стіл переговорів через страх, із пістолетом біля скроні. Для нас найстрашніше залізо – не ракети, літаки, танки, а кайдани. Не окопи, а окови. Що для нас кінець війни? Раніше ми говорили: мир. Зараз кажемо: Перемога!», – Президент України Володимир Зеленський.

Цифри дня:
- Відбулася друга «Кримська платформа». До Саміту долучилися 40 президентів і премʼєр-міністрів, включно з лідерами «Великої Сімки».
- За 6 місяців війни ЗСУ знищили більше 45 тисяч окупантів та 12 тисяч одиниць ворожої техніки.
- Повітряні Сили України вночі збили ворожий вертоліт Ка-52 на східному напрямку, а також склад боєприпасів окупантів у Токмаку.
- Канада запровадить санкції проти ще 62 осіб та одного підприємства оборонного сектору росії, заявив премʼєр-міністр Канади Джастін Трюдо. А Німеччина проведе в жовтні конференцію з відбудову України, анонсував канцлер Німеччини Олаф Шольц.

Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 24 серпня:
ХАРКІВ. росіяни за ніч кілька разів вдарили по Харкову ракетами С-300. Удари прийшлися по Шевченківському району – спалахнула пожежа, та Новобаварському району. Постраждали 5 осіб, серед них – 5-річна дитина.
На лінії зіткнення в області тривають запеклі бойові дії.
ДОНЕЦЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ. За вчора росіяни вбили ще 1 мирного жителя Донеччини – у Бахмуті. Ще 2 отримали поранення. Точну кількість жертв у Маріуполі та Волновасі неможливо встановити.

ДНІПРО. Ніч на Дніпропетровщині минула під звуки “повітряних тривог”. Ворог лупив по регіону “Градами” та “Ураганами”. Вогонь прийшовся на Дніпропевський, Нікопольський та Криворізький райони. Нікопольський район росіяни чотири рази обстріляли з важкої артилерії та «Градів». У Марганці постраждала родина. У місті два будинки зруйновані, понад 10 пошкоджені.На Нікополь росіяни скерували 20 снарядів. Є руйнування житла. Люди не постраждали. У Червоногригорівській громаді один будинок знищений, декілька понівечені. Люди не ушкоджені. У Криворізькому районі російські «Урагани» обстріляли Карпівську та Широківську громади. У селі Кошове перебита лінія електропередач.
ЗАПОРІЖЖЯ. За ніч ворог завдав кілька ударів по місту. Близько опівночі ракети окупантів влучили в об’єкти інфраструктури Шевченківського району і неподалік Комунарського. Без жертв. О 4 ранку ворожий удар прийшовся на цивільну інфраструктуру міста. На цей час відомо про 6 багатоквартирних будинків, з яких повилітали шибки та зруйновано віконні рами. Постраждалих немає.

The 182nd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Exactly six months since the Russian Federation started war against Ukraine. “On February 24, we were told: “You have no chance”, on August 24 we say: “Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!”. During these 6 months, we changed history, changed the world, and changed ourselves. We didn’t have HIMARS yet, but we had people ready to stop tanks with their bare hands. We were not ready to close the sky, but we had people who were ready to sacrifice their lives for their native land. Ukrainian people and their courage inspired the whole world. We do not sit down at the negotiating table out of fear, with a gun to our temples. For us, the most dangerous iron is not rockets, planes, tanks, but shackles. Not trenches, but fetters. What is the end of the war for us? We used to say: peace. Now we say: Victory!” – says Volodymyr Zelenskyi, President of Ukraine.

Highlights of the day:

- Canada will introduce sanctions against another 62 people and one Russian defense sector enterprise, said Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, announced that Germany will hold a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in October.

Situation in Ukraine as of August 24:
KHARKIV. The Russians hit Kharkiv several times overnight with S-300 missiles. The blows fell on the Shevchenkivskyi and Novobavarskyi districts – a fire broke out. 5 people were injured, including a 5-year-old child. Fierce fighting continues on the contact line in the region.
DONETSK REGION. Yesterday, Russians killed 1 more civilian in Donetsk region, namely, in Bakhmut. 2 more people were injured. The exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha cannot be established.
DNIPRO. The night in Dnipropetrovsk region passed to the sounds of “air alarms”. The enemy attacked the region with BM-21 “Grad” and BM-27 “Uragan”. The attacks also reached Dnipropetrovsk, Nikopol and Kryvorizky districts. The Russians shelled the Nikopol district four times with heavy artillery and “Grad”. A family was injured in Marhanets. Two houses were destroyed in the town, more than 10 were damaged. The Russians directed 20 shells at Nikopol. There is destruction of housing. People were not injured. In Chervonohrihorivska community, one house was destroyed, several were mutilated. People are not injured. In the Kryviy Rih district, Russian “Uragans” shelled Karpivska and Shirokivska communities. In the village of Koshov, the power line was cut off.

ZAPORIZHZHIA. During the night, the enemy struck the city several times. Around midnight, the rockets of the occupiers hit infrastructure facilities in Shevchenkivskyi and near Komunarskyi districts. No victims. At 4 o’clock in the morning, the enemy hit the civilian infrastructure of the city. At this time, it is known about 6 apartment buildings, from which the windows were blown out and the window frames were destroyed. There are no casualties.
