236-й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Цілу ніч і весь ранок триває російський терор проти мирного населення. російські дрони-камікадзе і ракети атакують всю Україну. У Києві є влучання у житловий будинок. Під ударами Одеса, Миколаїв, Дніпро, Харків. Дуже важкі бої тривають в Соледарі і Бахмуті на Донеччині. Ворог може бити ракетами та дронами по наших містах, мобілізувати проти нас навіть ув’язнених та рецидивістів, але українців не вдасться зламати нікому. Наш народ вже неодноразово намагалися підкорити й знищити. Ми вистояли, і продовжуємо битися за своє право на життя. На окупантів чекає лише справедливе покарання й осуд майбутніх поколінь. На нас, українців, – перемога. Безмежна вдячність всім нашим воїнам, які героїчно тримають позиції на фронті та захищають наше небо від ворожих атак. Дякуємо кожному й кожній, хто воює, працює, допомагає заради нашої перемоги! У єдності й спільних діях – наша сила! Слава Україні!

Цифри дня:
- Вранці 17 жовтня росіяни атакували Київ дронами-камікадзе. Повідомляється про 4 прильоти в центрі міста, в тому числі по житловому будинку у Шевченківському районі та потужну пожежу у нежитловій будівлі.
- На півдні України за ніч знищено 26 дронів-камікадзе Shahed-136. Ще 15 дронів були збиті зранку над Одеською та Миколаївською областями, – командування Повітряних сил України.

- Генштаб ЗСУ: минулої доби ворог завдав 2 ракетних і 26 авіаційних ударів, а також здійснив понад 80 обстрілів з РСЗВ. Постраждали більше 20 населених пунктів.
- Співвідношення втрат українських і російських військ на півдні України складає приблизно 1 до 6,5, – заступниця міністра оборони Ганна Маляр з посиланням на оперативне командування «Південь».
- Президент Зеленський: з липня Україна експортувала майже 8 мільйонів тон продовольства морським шляхом – це понад 300 суден. 60% цього обсягу було спрямовано в Африку та Азію.

- Глави МЗС Естонії, Латвії та Литви виступили зі спільною заявою, закликавши ЄС разом із міжнародними партнерами допомогти Україні створити Спеціальний трибунал для суду над вищим керівництвом рф.
- Іран посилює свої зобов’язання постачати зброю росії для війни проти України і готовий передати не тільки дрони, а і балістичні ракети класу «земля-земля», – The Washington Post.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 17 жовтня:
КИЇВ. У результаті ранкової атаки дронами-камікадзе, в Шевченківському районі стався вибух в житловому будинку. Наразі з нього врятовані 18 людей, повідомив мер Віталій Кличко. За попередньою інформацією, двоє мешканців залишаються під завалами. Інформація щодо загиблих уточнюється.

ОДЕСА. Зранку по Одеській області було завдано ракетного удару з літака СУ-35. Постраждав один об’єкт інфраструктури, жертв немає.
МИКОЛАЇВ. Вчора в період з 21:30 до 22:30 над областю було збито 11 іранських безпілотників. У Миколаєві три дрони потрапили в об’єкти промислової інфраструктури та фармацевтичний склад. Також унаслідок артилерійського обстрілу населеного пункту Першотравневої громади пошкоджено об’єкт соціальної інфраструктури.
ДНІПРО. Росіяни всю ніч атакували область ракетами, «Градами» та важкою артилерією. Перед світанком військові знищили над областю три крилаті ракети над Криворізьким та Нікопольським районами. Є приліт по об’єкту енергетичної інфраструктури. Там сильна пожежа, працюють усі служби, повідомляє обласна військова адміністрація.

СУМИ. Внаслідок обстрілу знеструмлено частину Білопільської громади на Сумщині. Станом на вечір без світла залишався 2151 абонент, повідомили в обласній військовій адміністрації. Зранку ворог наніс ракетний удар по об’єктах критичної інфраструктури у Роменському районі, є постраждалі.
ХЕРСОН. Окупанти посилюють фільтраційні заходи в окупованій частині області та розпочали процес евакуації так званих «державних установ». За інформацією Генштаба ЗСУ, з Херсона до Криму вивозять співробітників та майно банків і пенсійного фонду.

236th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. russian terror against civilians continues all night and all morning. Kamikaze drones and missiles are attacking all of Ukraine. A residential building was hit in Kyiv. Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv are under attack. Very heavy fighting continues in Soledar and Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The enemy can hit our cities with missiles and drones or mobilise even prisoners and recidivists against us, but no one will be able to break Ukrainians. Our people were repeatedly being tried to conquer and destroy. We survived and continue to fight for our right to life. The occupiers will face only fair punishment and condemnation of future generations. We, Ukrainians, are victorious. Boundless gratitude to all our soldiers who heroically hold positions at the front and protect our sky from enemy attacks. We thank each and every person who is fighting, working and helping for our victory! Our strength is in unity and joint actions! Glory to Ukraine!

- On October 17, russians attacked Kyiv with kamikaze drones. There were reportedly 4 arrivals in the city centre, including a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district and a massive fire in a non-residential building.
- In southern Ukraine, 26 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones were destroyed overnight. Another 15 drones were shot down in the morning over Odesa and Mykolaiv regions – the Air Force Command of Ukraine.

- AFU General Staff: over the last day, the enemy conducted two missiles and 26 air strikes, as well as more than 80 attacks from multiple rocket launchers. 20 localities were damaged.
- The ratio of losses of Ukrainian and russian troops in the south of Ukraine is about 1 to 6.5, – Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar regarding the operational command “South”.
- President Zelenskiy: Since July, Ukraine has exported almost 8 million tons of food by the sea – more than 300 vessels. 60% of this food was sent to Africa and Asia.
- The Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania issued a joint statement calling on the EU and international partners to help Ukraine establish a Special Tribunal to try russia’s top leadership.

What is important to know about the situation in Ukraine as of October 17:
KYIV. As a result of the morning attack by kamikaze drones, an explosion occurred in a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. So far, 18 people have been rescued from the building, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. According to preliminary information, two residents remain under the rubble. The information about the victims is being clarified.

ODESA. In the morning, a missile strike from a SU-35 aircraft hit the Odesa region. One infrastructure facility was damaged, no casualties.
MYKOLAIV. Yesterday between 21:30 and 22:30, 11 Iranian drones were shot down over the region. In Mykolaiv, three drones hit industrial infrastructure facilities and a pharmaceutical warehouse. Also, as a result of artillery shelling of the settlement of the Pershotravnevaya community, a social infrastructure facility was damaged.
DNIPRO. Russians attacked the region with rockets, “Grad”, and heavy artillery all night. Before dawn, the military destroyed three cruise missiles over the region’s Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts. There was an attack on an energy infrastructure facility. The regional military administration reported an intense fire there; all services are working.

SUMY. Due to the shelling, part of the Bilopillya community in the Sumy region was de-energized. As of the evening, 2151 subscribers were left without electricity, the regional military administration reported. In the morning, the enemy launched a missile attack on critical infrastructure facilities in the Romny district; there were victims.
HERSON. Occupants intensified filtration measures in the occupied part of the region and started the process of evacuation of so-called “state institutions”. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, employees and property of banks and pension funds are being taken from Kherson to Crimea.
