318-й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. За Юліанським календарем сьогодні багато українських родин святкують Різдво Христове з єдиним бажанням Перемоги! Як підкреслив у своєму зверненні Президент Зеленський, це свято злагоди та єднання сім’ї. Христос народився, щоб подарувати життя і Любов кожній родині, кожній дитині, кожній країні! - 7 січня відбулося перше різдвяне богослужіння митрополита Православної церкви України Епіфанія в Успенському соборі Києво-Печерської лаври.

- Сполучені Штати виділяють Україні новий пакет підтримки у сфері оборони на суму понад $3 мільярда, який включатиме БМП Bradley, а також снаряди до HIMARS, броньовики MRAP, зенітні ракети Sea Sparrow. Крім того, Німеччина планує поставити Україні близько 40 БМП Marder та ЗРК Patriot.
- Секретар РНБО Олексій Данілов прогнозує початок «наступальної війни» для України у 2023 році.
- Генштаб ЗСУ: Минулої доби російські війська завдали одного ракетного удару і здійснили 20 обстрілів з реактивних систем залпового вогню.
- Ворог не припиняв атаки 6 січня, незважаючи на ними ж оголошене «різдвяне перемир’я», – голова Луганської ОВА Сергій Гайдай.

- Інститут вивчення війни (ISW): росія посилює адміністративний контроль на окупованих територіях та насильницьку інтеграцію українських громадян у соціокультурну, економічну та адміністративну системи рф.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 7 cічня:
ХЕРСОН. Минулої доби росіяни 39 разів обстріляли область з артилерії, РСЗВ, мінометів і танків. Снаряди влучили по приватних та багатоквартирних будинках, а також по будівлі підрозділу пожежно-рятувальної частини. Загинув один рятувальник, ще 7 мирних мешканців регіону було поранено.
ДОНБАС. Згідно із Генштабом, минулої доби підрозділи ЗСУ відбили атаки в районах 14 населених пунктів в Донбасі.

Як повідомляє британська розвідка, у період православного Різдва бойові дії продовжились на звичайному рівні. Місцем одних із найзапекліших боїв на лінії фронту, як і раніше, залишається ділянка навколо міста Кремінна в Луганській області. Минулої доби в Бахмуті та Червоній Горі в результаті бойових дій загинули 2 мирні жителі, ще 7 мешканців області отримали поранення. 6 січня російські війська обстріляли центральну частину міста Курахове, пошкоджено житлові будинки та приміщення міської лікарні, де в момент удару знаходилася 21 людина. Одна із співробітниць лікарні була поранена. Внаслідок обстрілу Краматорську пошкоджено 14 приватних будинків, жертв немає.
Ми пишаємося сьогодні кожним, хто своїми діями, словами чи просто тихою молитвою наближає нашу спільну перемогу над ворогом! Ми на своїй землі і з нами правда, перемога і незалежність! Слава Україні!

318th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. According to the Julian calendar, many Ukrainian families celebrate Christmas with a single desire for Victory today! As President Zelenskyy stressed in his address, this is a holiday of harmony and family unity. Christ was born to give life and love to every family, every child, and every country! Despite the pain and horrors of war, we together – a large Ukrainian family – pray for our Soldiers, our Victory, and a happy life with God in our souls! Racism is losing this war on the ground, in the sky, at sea, in the energy sector, in the economy, politics, and it will eventually find itself in the dock at the international tribunal. - The United States provides Ukraine with a new defence support package worth more than $3 billion, including Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, HIMARS ammunition, MRAP armoured vehicles, and Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, Germany is planning to supply Ukraine with about 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles and Patriot air defence systems.
- NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov predicts the beginning of an “offensive war” for Ukraine in 2023.
- General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: russian troops conducted one missile strike and 20 attacks from multiple rocket launchers over the past day.
- The enemy did not stop attacks on January 6, despite the “Christmas truce” they declared – the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergey Gaidai.
- Institute for the Study of War (ISW): russia is strengthening administrative control in the occupied territories and forcibly integrating Ukrainian citizens into the sociocultural, economic and administrative systems of the russian federation.

What is important to know about the situation in Ukraine as of January 7:
КHERSON. Yesterday russians shelled the region 39 times with artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks. The shells hit private and apartment houses, as well as the fire and rescue unit building. One rescuer was killed, and 7 more civilians were wounded.
DONBAS. According to the General Staff, last night, the AFU repelled attacks near 14 settlements in Donbas. According to British intelligence, hostilities continued at the usual level during the Orthodox Christmas period. The area around the town of Kreminna in the Luhansk region remains the scene of some fiercest fighting on the frontline. Over the last day, 2 civilians were killed in Bakhmut and Chervona Hora due to hostilities, and 7 more were wounded. On January 6, russian troops shelled the central part of Kurakhove, damaging residential buildings and the premises of the city hospital, where 21 people were staying at the time of the attack. One of the hospital employees was wounded. As a result of the shelling in Kramatorsk, 14 private houses were damaged, but there were no casualties.
