421-ий день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Противник, ціною великих втрат, продовжує зосереджувати основні зусилля на веденні наступальних дій на Лиманському, Бахмутському, Авдіївському та Мар’їнському напрямках. Протягом доби, на зазначених ділянках фронту, відбито понад 40 атак ворога. Найзапекліші бої ведуться за Бахмут та Мар’їнку. Авіація Сил оборони України за добу завдала 7 ударів по районах зосередження окупантів, а підрозділи ракетних військ і артилерії уразили 2 райони зосередження живої сили, озброєння та військової техніки та 2 склади боєприпасів противника, – Генштаб ЗСУ. Володимир Зеленський на Волині провів широку нараду з керівниками регіону, місцевими правоохоронцями, військовими, усіма, хто відповідає за безпеку й соціальний стан області. - У Київ приїхав Генеральний секретар НАТО Єнс Столтенберг.
- Вночі росія вчергове атакувала Україну БПЛА та авіабомбами. Українські захисники знищили 10 із 11 “Shahed-136/131”, випущених окупантами.
- Данія та Нідерланди передадуть 14 танків Leopard 2 для України. Про це заявили міністр закордонних справ Данії Ларс Льокке Расмуссен і виконувач обов’язків міністра оборони Троелс Лунд Поульсен. Очікується, що танки приїдуть в Україну на початку 2024 року.
- До України прибули системи ППО Patriot від США, Нідерландів та Німеччини. Про це повідомив перший заступник міністра оборони України генерал-лейтенант Олександр Павлюк.

- США оголосили про новий пакет допомоги Україні на суму 325 мільйонів доларів. До нового пакету допомоги увійдуть додаткові боєприпаси для HIMARS, ракетних та протитанкових систем, також додаткові артилерійські снаряди та патрони для стрілецької зброї.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 20 квітня:
ЗАПОРІЖЖЯ. За минулу добу ворог здійснив 86 ударів по 13 населених пунктах з різних видів озброєння. Зафіксовано 20 нових руйнувань. Люди не постраждали.
ДОНБАС. За минулу добу росіяни вбили 1 жителя Донеччини — у Костянтинівці. Ще 2 людини в області дістали поранення.
ХАРКІВ. Минулої доби ворог продовжував завдавати ударів по цивільній інфраструктурі та мирних мешканцях Харківського, Куп’янського та Чугуївського районів. У Куп’янську внаслідок ворожого обстрілу пошкоджено приватний житловий будинок, сталася пожежа.

ХЕРСОН. російські окупанти 60 разів обстріляли Херсонщину. Випустили 298 снарядів з артилерії, мінометів, танків, безпілотників та авіації. Минулої доби через російську агресію шестеро людей отримали поранення різного ступеня тяжкості.
МИКОЛАЇВ. Сьогодні вночі росіяни вдарили з РСЗВ по місту Очаків. Наслідки пошкоджень уточнюються. За попередньою інформацією постраждалих немає.
СУМИ. Вночі та вранці росіяни здійснили 2 мінометних обстріли (12 прильотів) території Білопільської громади.

Day 421st of the full-scale war in Ukraine. The enemy, at the cost of heavy losses, continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka areas. During the day, more than 40 enemy attacks were repulsed in the specified areas of the front. The fiercest battles are fought for Bakhmut and Marinka. During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 7 strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers, and units of missile troops and artillery hit 2 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment and 2 warehouses of enemy ammunition – the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In Volyn, Volodymyr Zelenskiy held a wide-ranging meeting with the leaders of the region, local law enforcement officers, military personnel, and all those responsible for the safety and social condition of the region. - At night, russia once again attacked Ukraine with UAVs and aerial bombs. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 10 out of 11 “Shahed-136/131” launched by the occupiers.
- Denmark and the Netherlands will hand over 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, and the Acting Minister of Defense, Troels Lund Poulsen. The tanks are expected to arrive in Ukraine in early 2024.

- The USA announced a new package of aid to Ukraine in the amount of 325 million dollars. The new aid package will include additional ammunition for HIMARS, missile and anti-tank systems, as well as additional artillery shells and cartridges for small arms.
What is important to know about the situation in Ukraine as of April 20:
ZAPORIZHZHIA. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 86 attacks on 13 settlements with various types of weapons. 20 new destructions were recorded. People were not injured.
DONBAS. Over the past day, the Russians killed 1 resident of Donetsk region — in Kostyantynivka. 2 more people in the region were injured.
KHARKIV. Last day, the enemy continued to attack the civilian infrastructure and civilians of the Kharkiv, Kupyan and Chuguyiv districts. In Kupyansk, as a result of enemy shelling, a private residential building was damaged and a fire broke out.

KHERSON. the russian occupiers shelled Kherson Oblast 60 times. 298 shells were fired from artillery, mortars, tanks, drones and aviation. Yesterday, six people were injured of varying degrees of severity due to russian aggression.
MYKOLAIV. Tonight, the russians hit the town of Ochakiv with an anti-aircraft missile system. The consequences of damage are being clarified. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.
SUMY. At night and in the morning, the russians carried out 2 mortar attacks (12 hits) on the territory of the Bilopilsk community.
