425 й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Протягом останніх тижнів росіяни кожен день атакують українську землю керованими авіабомбами, повідомив речник Повітряних Сил Юрій Ігнат. За його словами, по всій лінії фронту працює щонайменше два десятки літаків тактичної авіації ворога. Безмежна вдячність і шана всім українським воїнам, які зараз на передовій в Авдіївці, Мар’їнці, Бахмуті, Лиманському напрямку та на кожній іншій ділянці фронту захищають нас від ворога. Цей спокійний весняний день, як і кожен день такої тиші в тилових областях, досягається ціною жорстоких боїв і героїзму наших захисників. Українська сила – в наших людях, в наших громадах і в нашій здатності діяти разом для досягнення спільної мети. - За останню добу росіяни завдали один ракетний та 46 авіаударів, а також здійснили 60 обстрілів та РСЗВ. Основні спроби наступу росіяни роблять під Бахмутом, Авдіївкою та Мар’їнкою. За добу там відбито близько 60 атак, – зведення Генштабу.
- Командувач Сухопутних військ ЗСУ Олександр Сирський повідомив, що на Бахмутському напрямку проїхав всією лінією зіткнення, відвідав частини, які тримають весь бахмутський фронт. «Ми б‘ємо ворога, часто несподівано для нього, і продовжуємо утримувати стратегічні рубежі», – запевнив він.
- Перший дивізіон американської системи ППО Patriot вже заступив на бойове чергування в Україні, заявив речник Повітряних сил України Юрій Ігнат. За його словами, цей зенітно-ракетний комплекс зможе збивати російські ракети С-300.

- Близько 80 депутатів Європарламенту закликають оголосити китайського посла у Франції Лу Шае персоною нон грата за слова про Крим та нелегітимність суверенітету колишніх республік СРСР, — французьке видання Le Monde.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 24 квітня:
ДНІПРО. У Нікополі через атаку російських дронів чоловік 33 років отримав осколкові поранення, ще у двох людей мінно-вибухові травми та контузії. У місті пошкоджено комунальну будівлю, два приватні житлові будинки та автомобіль.
ХЕРСОН. Минулої доби росіяни 83 рази обстріляли область, випустивши 412 снарядів із важкої артилерії, БПЛА та авіації. Є попадання по житлових кварталах населених пунктів області, території та будівлі навчального закладу Білозерської селищної громади. Двоє людей загинули, шестеро отримали поранення, повідомили в обласній військовій адміністрації.

ДОНБАС. росіяни вночі обстріляли з С-300 місто Слов’янськ. Ракета влучила в мікрорайоні Лісний поблизу кар’єру. Пошкоджено декілька приватних будинків, люди не постраждали.

425th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. In recent weeks, russians have been attacking Ukrainian soil with guided aerial bombs every day, said Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat. According to him, at least two dozen enemy tactical aircraft are operating along the entire frontline. We are incredibly grateful and honoured to all Ukrainian soldiers who are on the frontline in Avdiivka, Maryinka, Bakhmut, the Liman sector and every other section of the frontline defending us from the enemy. This calm spring day, like every day of such silence in the rear areas, is achieved at the cost of fierce battles and the heroism of our defenders. Facts of the day:
- Over the past day, russians launched one missile and 46 air strikes, as well as 60 shelling and MLRS attacks. The main offensive attempts are being made near Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka. About 60 attacks were repelled there over the last day,” the General Staff reports.
- Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi said that he had driven along the entire contact line in the Bakhmut sector and visited the units holding the Bakhmut as a whole front. “We are beating the enemy, often unexpectedly, and continue to hold strategic positions,” he assured.
- The first division of the US Patriot air defence system has already been put on combat duty in Ukraine, said Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force. According to him, this anti-aircraft missile system will be able to shoot down russian S-300 missiles.

- About 80 MEPs call for declaring Chinese Ambassador to France Lu Shae persona non grata for his words about Crimea and the illegitimacy of the sovereignty of the former Soviet republics, French newspaper Le Monde reports.
What you need to know about the situation in Ukraine as of 24 April:
DNIPRO. In Nikopol, a 33-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds due to a russian drone attack, and two other people sustained mine-blast injuries and contusions. A municipal building, two private houses and a car were damaged in the city.
KHERSON. Over the past day, russians fired 83 times at the region, launching 412 shells from heavy artillery, UAVs and aircraft. Residential areas of the region’s settlements, the territory and the building of the educational institution of the Bilozerska village community were hit. The regional military administration reported that two people were killed and six were wounded.

DONBAS. russians shelled the city of Sloviansk with S-300 at night. The missile hit the Lisnyi neighbourhood near the quarry. Several private houses were damaged, but no people were injured.
