427 й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Цього дня 37 років тому сталася катастрофа на Чорнобильській АЕС – найбільша за всю історію атомної енергетики. В результаті витоку радіації колись затишна й розвинена територія перетворилася на зону відчуження. Сьогодні 30-кілометрова зона навколо ЧАЕС залишається небезпечним місцем з високою концентрацією радіації. Минулого року російські окупанти захопили атомну станцію, знову наразивши на небезпеку весь світ. Завдяки героїчним зусиллям українських захисників наукові та безпекові підприємства в деокупованій рік тому зоні вже повернулися до нормального режиму роботи. Як підкреслив Президент Зеленський, ми маємо зробити все, щоб не дати державі-терористу жодного шансу використовувати об’єкти атомної енергетики для шантажу України й цілого світу. Ніщо у світі не має права стояти вище, ніж людське життя. Ніхто у світі не має права руйнувати мир.

- В ООН підтвердили загибель внаслідок війни в Україні 8574 цивільних та поранення 14411. Проте реальні цифри можуть бути значно більшими, уточнюють в організації.
- Внаслідок російського удару по краєзнавчому музею у центрі Куп’янська на Харківщині загинули дві жінки, десять людей поранені. Загалом понад 60 музеїв і галерей у різних областях нашої країни так само зруйновані або пошкоджені окупантом, – Президент Зеленський.
- Президентка Єврокомісії Урсула фон дер Ляєн оголосила про виплату Україні чергового траншу макрофінансової допомоги на суму 1,5 млрд євро з пакету допомоги на 18 млрд.
- У Вашингтоні представили двопартійний проект резолюції Палати представників про перемогу України у війні проти Росії — у ньому йдеться про відновлення кордонів 1991 року та інтеграцію в НАТО.

- Міжнародна робоча група щодо санкцій проти росії Макфола-Єрмака представила новий план дій із метою подальшого посилення санкційного тиску на рф – Action Plan 2.0. Напрацювання групи покладено в основу більш як 70% санкцій з боку США, ЄС, Великої Британії та інших країн.
Що важливо знати про ситуацію в Україні станом на 26 квітня:
ХАРКІВ. Більшість ударів по позиціях українських сил росіяни завдають на Куп’янському напрямку, повідомив речник Східного угруповання військ ЗСУ Сергій Череватий. За цю добу 432 рази ворог завдав ударів різними типами артилерії, реактивних систем залпового вогню, 13 авіанальотів здійснив і ракетні удари. Для порівняння, у районі Бахмута росіяни завдали 280 артилерійських ударів за минулу добу та здійснили чотири авіанальоти.

ДНІПРО. Вчора ввечері росіяни обстріляли з важкої артилерії Нікопольський район. У Марганці постраждали двоє людей, пошкоджено дві адмінбудівлі, приватні і багатоповерхові будинки. У Нікополі пошкоджені приватне підприємство, багатоквартирний будинок, магазин, повідомили в обласній військовій адміністрації.
ХЕРСОН. Минулої доби росіяни 75 разів обстріляли Херсонську область, випустивши 389 снарядів із важкої артилерії, БПЛА та авіації. Є влучення по житлових кварталах населених пунктів області. У селі Кізомис Білозерської громади росіяни керованою авіабомбою зруйнували православний храм. Одна людина отримала поранення.
ДОНБАС. Підрозділами сил оборони України протягом минулої доби відбито 39 ворожих атак. Найзапекліші бої тривають за Бахмут та Мар’їнку, повідомив Генштаб у ранковому зведенні.

427th day of full-scale war in Ukraine. On this day 37 years ago, the Chornobyl nuclear power plant disaster, the largest in the history of atomic power, occurred. As a result of a radiation leak, the once cozy and developed area turned into an exclusion zone. Today, the 30-kilometer location around the Chornobyl NPP remains a dangerous place with a high concentration of radiation. Last year, the russian occupiers seized the nuclear power plant, once again endangering the entire world. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Ukrainian defenders, scientific and security enterprises in the area de-occupied a year ago have already returned to regular operation. As President Zelenskyy stressed, we must do everything to prevent the terrorist state from having any chance to use nuclear energy facilities to blackmail Ukraine and the whole world. Nothing in the world has the right to stand above human life. No one in the world has the right to destroy peace.

Figures of the day:
- The UN confirmed that 8574 civilians were killed and 14411 injured in the war in Ukraine. However, the real figures may be much higher, the organisation said.
- Two women were killed, and ten people were wounded in a russian strike on a local history museum in the center of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. In total, more than 60 museums and galleries in different regions of our country have been destroyed or damaged by the occupier, President Zelenskyy said.
- President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced the disbursement of another tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine of EUR 1.5 billion out of an assistance package worth EUR 18 billion.
- In Washington, a bipartisan draft resolution of the House of Representatives on Ukraine’s victory in the war against russia was presented, which includes the restoration of the 1991 borders and integration into NATO.

- The McFaul-Yermack International Working Group on Sanctions Against russia presented a new action plan to increase sanctions pressure on russia further – Action Plan 2.0. The group’s findings are the basis for more than 70% of sanctions imposed by the US, EU, UK and other countries.
What you need to know about the situation in Ukraine as of 26 April:
KHARKIV. Most of the Russian attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces are carried out in the Kupyansk direction, said the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevaty. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy fired 432 times with various types of artillery and multiple launch rocket systems and carried out 13 air raids and missile attacks. For comparison, in Bakhmut, the russians launched 280 artillery strikes over the past day and carried out four air raids.
DNIPRO. Last night, russians shelled the Nikopol district with heavy artillery. In Marhanets, two people were injured, and two administrative buildings and private and multi-storey buildings were damaged. The regional military administration reported that a private enterprise, apartment building, and shop were destroyed in Nikopol.

KHERSON. Over the past day, russians fired 75 times at the Kherson region, launching 389 shells from heavy artillery, UAVs and aircraft. Residential areas of the region’s settlements were hit. In the village of Kizomys of the Bilozersk community, russians destroyed an Orthodox church with a guided aerial bomb. One person was injured.
DONBAS. Ukrainian defence forces repelled 39 enemy attacks over the past day. The fiercest fighting continues for Bakhmut and Maryinka, the General Staff reported in its morning update.
